High School Curriculum and Our Future: When was the last time you thought about your future? These days, many school systems are requiring their students to fill our career-planning forms as young as elementary school. By the time you have reached the high school level, you should have a pretty good idea of what you want to do with your life. You may change your mind over time, but you should at least be thinking about your future at this stage, because your future is approaching faster than you might want to believe. Part of your concern should be on whether or not you are prepared to face the real world when you step out of the doors of your high school for the last time. When you receive your diploma in that graduation line, are you really going to be prepared to study at a university or start working a regular job? If the answer is no, then your high school curriculum might not be focusing on the future of the students. A high school curriculum that focuses on the future is a hig h school curriculum that prepares students for the future. First, let’s think about the different versions of high school curriculums. All of them include the basics such as mathematics, English, and so on. However, there are others that include computer applications, online coding, business/economics mathematics, and more in-depth subjects such as these.
